We NEED YOU! 

OLPA, and under its umbrella the Save Otisco Lake initiative, are now structured as a true Membership organization. The By-Laws now reflect that Members join, nominate people, vote in elections and have a legit voice in the lake representation and the preservation business for Otisco Lake.

 Membership means:

·       Nominating and voting rights for the Board positions

·       Attendance at the annual business meeting

·       Representation of the population of people caring and connected to Otisco Lake

·       Collectively, through membership, be recognized as a greater force by Onondaga County, DEC and all other organizations who award Grants and funding, determine work projects, and evaluate the number of people affected in the Lake watershed. 

·       Being informed of lake initiatives through our website, Facebook, email and periodic newsletters.

·       Access to educational programs and events.

·       And more benefits to be defined soon

Membership will be $50 for an individual and gives that person access to the Annual business meeting and one vote for Board elections. You must be 18 years of age to join.

The membership year begins June 1, 2024.

The annual business meeting and elections will only be available to members. 

We want and need as many members as possible! The preservation  of our lake depends on your support. Thank you for taking action and spreading the word to all you know. Residency is not a factor in membership eligibility, so family from out of the area are welcome to join.
